was standing behind the nets one day, watching me bat. I was struggling, so he started calling the shot i should play for each ball. To my eye, he seemed to be calling the shot before the bowler even got his arm up to his ear!! I couldn't believe how early he was picking the length of each ball, which, to me, was WAY before the bowler let the ball go......AMAZING. I then decided it'a all eyesight

You obviously "play the percentages" with
luck: the better players seem to get less unplayable balls, etc, but that's coz they're better.
