checklist on wheelies
yes i've searched, tried all the tips, and am still frustrated:
here's what i'm doing - please critique.
gearing - 48x18, 700c's front and back.
starting at a low speed 5-10mph, powerfoot at 12, pushing down with it while pulling up on the handlebars --- seat as far back as possible.
when i get this right, the front wheel pops up about 2.5-3 feet. after that it slams it down. i try to follow the crank rotation with my weaker leg, but by the time it rotates, the front wheel is down. Am also trying really hard to use my upper body to pull the front back.
both feet are uncaged as a safety precaution etc. any more tips? The one posted tip I didnt understand was to pull with the weak foot. It's a bit hard not-caged in. Is this necessary?
Any other tips - my stem is a bit long and my seat height is for normal riding with the seat at the very middle of the seat rails on the seatpost.
any advice would be great. been trying this for a good 2 hrs/day for the last 4 days =/.
im happy my front deep v isnt out of true after being slammed so many times. lol
