Saddles are such a personal thing, everyone's built differently. Used to ride a Brooks Swift, but I've been liking racier lighter saddles recently:
I like these two-by like I mean I don't notice or think about my saddle while riding.
Fixed bike-Performance forte pro slx-nice lightweight minimalist saddle, great bang for buck-can be had for around $35 if you play the coupon game. nicely made leather + ti rails, great around town haven't given it a long mileage test. Has an anatomical cutout and no embroidered graphics. After awhile you'll forget that saddle is dorky performance house brand-really is a nice saddle; think they're made by Velo enterprise.
Road bike-San Marco Concor Light-great roadie saddle, comfortable for longer rides, used to be had for $59, now they're $89. Embroidered graphics suck-don't understand this trend seems like each year they raise the price and add more of the embroidery noone likes WTF. Find one on ebay without embroidery if you can, but expect to pay close to full price.
