Most of my rides go like this:
1. Exit House/Work/School unto busy street
2. Duck down side street, ahh enjoy blissful cruising, waving at walkers, listening to the wind and the birds chirp.
3. Back on busy street to House/Work/School.

All the cars are gone for road work. Very cool.

In the evenings, I ride home from school down a nice little neighborhood- complete with tall oaktrees? and yellow streetlights.
Hardley any cars, great bikelanes and smooth roads. Wonderful. My only fear is the older ladies in their large cars who say they can't see me (even with 2 Nashbar Bar-End lights, A rear blinkie and a bright front LED light.





I ride about 3 miles to work, 3 miles to home then 3 miles to school then 3 miles home again: usually about 25 miles during the week. Not much, but it feels like a good amount. Once I find a comfortable saddle I think I'll start branching out more.
