I have come to the conclusion that a good road bike platform pedal for under $50 is just not an option. I just want some simple pedals that will accept toe clips.

Dimension - Every budget Dimension product I have owned was pure junk. I doubt their pedals are any different.

Wellgo - Every review of Wellgo pedals steers me far far away from them.

MKS - Seems to be a great made pedal, but upon receiving them I am under the impression they need to be taken apart, greased, adjusted, etc... as they are hit or miss in this area. Now I have to buy a pedal wrench, grease, etc...

Is there just a nice simple road pedal out there that will accept toe clips and does not need to be rebuilt upon receiving them?

I have been looking at pedals for 1-2 hours a day for almost a week and am losing it man. I'M FREAKING LOSING IT!
