I think they are awesome Great for racing on the track with a tubular pumped up to 150 PSI. On the street I don't really see an issue riding them as long as you're not an idiot who hits potholes, jumps curbs and bunny hops them - basically anyone who rides them like they're a Deep V. And for daily abuse they don't make much sense either, they're no fun to ride when it gets windy.
