Last I heard, the Texas Tour will be held in Texas. BTW, Roger Hammond has indicated he may be on the team for that race.
A Tour of America is logistically difficult, but I think it would have to go over some of the major passes in the Rockies, also along the Platte River, and maybe into the Appalachian Mtns. I think there would be quite a bit of traveling from one stage to the next if they expected to traverse the US.
If it ever happened, I'd like to see them go from Las Vegas up into Utah, through Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, something like that.
Yeah that would be a great route. Allthough a stage held somewhere in central California in view of the ocean would also be a must. The central Cali coast is some of the most beautiful realsate in the world.
