Oh, I dunno. Test cricket's so boring it needs a bit of livening up. A bit of needle at the opposition batsmen doesn't go astray. I say bring back the days when Lillee tried to wipe out Javed with his bat. Great stuff that lives on as legend. Bet they replay more of that incident in a decade than Clarke's century ever will be. I say let's dedicate one session a day of a Test match to getting the aggression out of every player's system in any way they see fit. Of course, you'd have to watch out for Warnie fagging and screwing away behind the change rooms. You could get the spectators in on the act as well by having them lob a few full beer cans into the arena. That sure would swell the gate takings in a flash.
And suspending Ganguly for two Tests coz the over rate in a one-dayer was a bit slow? WTF???!! He obviously was confused about which game he was playing -- Test or one-dayer.
Anyway, Gilchrist seems to be getting a bit rough around the edges, what with the mullet and all. Good to see the goodie-two-shoes image getting a bit of tarnish. Can't stand born-agains.
And Ponting not being happy? Geez, I remember the dust-up when he got a black eye over a TV-hooker. Good to see a hooligan can become Australian cricket captain and all the kudos that carries with old man John, the PM.
There's hope for all of us, yet. Except maybe Hitchy.
