Probably next Tuesday 30 November with the first of the ATTA time trials up Bonnet Hill. Us and about 60 other poseurs, plus the real racers like Sid Tabelay, Pete Smith and Mark Bowden.

It'll be the first airing for the Merida go-fast roadie, although I might just do it as a stir on the Peugeot fixed gear I finished cobbling together last weekend from a $10 tip-shop frame, a $30 Gitanes racer with broken chainstay, a POS rear hub, and the rims off my tourer (which is now the proud bearer of a Velocity Aerohead OC wheel on the rear and a plain Aero rim on the front).

The old Peugeot rides quite nicely thank you very much and I can just cope with 8% grades with the 38-17 set-up... but could do without the toe overlap on the front wheel!
