There was a time in my past when I could quote you the exact spec and dimensions of Columbus butted tubing for various road bikes. Now that I'm just too fat for road bikes, I don't bother. I've gone over to the fat tire crowd, and I'm here to stay. But this thread is so entertaining, it's the only one I follow. And I make sure to never contribute anything meaningful, as promised.
