Tangential wave story. Saturday I was at about mile 95 of a 100 mile ride, down along a tributary of the Shenandoah River in Virginia, with the leaves just starting to change. I rode past a bend in the river where three old guys were sitting on a fishing platform having a nice afternoon watching the crazy guy on a bike go by. They all three raised their arms in unison and gave me a nice friendly wave. Made my day for sure, and helped me make it the rest of the way back.
