No scrubbing involved actually... the day I brought mine home the Surly decal started to flake and peel off. I think the stickers are lower-quality than usual, but this is not a bother to many LHT buyers because they see the advantage in an unmarked, less-flashy "utility" aesthetic. At least, that's the case for me. Some day I'll sit down and peel them all off.
