I have a cross check that I have built to race cross and I'm looking to build a rear SS wheel. Any suggestions? I thought I'd ask here since I need a 135mm spaced hub and I want it to be pretty durable. A light hub would be a plus.

Also any suggestions for 700c rims? Would Mavic Open Pros be okay?

This would be my first season of racing cross, but I'd also like to take my bike to ride some single track so I'm looking for something durable as well. Any suggestions?

I currently have a track wheelset that's 120mm spaced.. but my LBS guy added spacers so they're 132mm. They're Open Pros laced to formulas. I took it to another shop and they said it's pretty dangerous to ride so I'm looking for a new rear wheel. They also told me the Formula hubs aren't durable at all.
