Dumbest most absurd logic ever.

I never skid on my bike, as it has a front brake. So why would I skid? It (sliding and breaking traction) is definitely not the fastest/efficient way to stop or else you'd see Formula One cars skidding into every turn.

Why should one get a road bike just because they don't skid? The benefits like a great work out from riding a fixed gear can't be had without skidding? Give me a break.

Not everyone who rides fixed does so to do skids and tricks. I love skids and tricks, but I'd rather get back on my 20" BMX or my skateboard for such things.

Some of you guys are extremely close minded.
