Here's my daily commuter. Got the bike off of craigslist for $100, Cannondale H400, then added the bontrager interchange rear rack, planet bike hardcore hybrid fenders (with cascadia flaps), planet bike 5-blinky rear and 3-led lights, seat pack, aero bars, bell, upgraded the seat (planet bike)... and added the milk crate (Hood Dairy). It's fast and fun! [Note the laser gun LED head light hehe )]
