Hitchy, you'll be proud to read that they did a 'test' on the 486 on cyclingnews.com just now. Tell me you didn't pay USD3,199 for the frame only. Please? Crikey. I worry about the cyclingnews people though I must say. They say crap like "RRP - Frame: US$3,199 - Complete bike: $5,800 (approx)", and if they can show me how that bike, with those wheels and a Campy Record group is only US5,800.....I run out and buy one tomorrow

yeah, strange review, dunno why they bothered actually, the frame is exactly the same as last years, except for the paint job. The HSC5 fork is about 100gms lighter than the previous model. You get a colour coded seat post as well. The 05 version is about $600AUD more than the 04.....The 04, frame, fork & headset was $5K AUD retail, but we get ripped off in Oz anyway......& who pays retail?......That pricing in the review was up that well known creek, I'm with you, If i could get the 05 in the review for $7K AUD I'd jump at it......mine cost more than that, but with DA10 & Cosmics.....
