He should really stand up to this incident and do the right thing by talking to a Lawyer and FAST. If not for his own sake he should do it for all those who've gotten killed by similar incidents this summer.
Glad you weren't hurt, but I agree with Adrian. If someone was nice and agreed to pay for what they broke, I'd have no issues with them, but in this situation, when she said ANYTHING exept OK, I would not speak to her again, but get a lawyer like everyone else has said and develop some nasty back pains that keep you out of work for months. Get the sleeziest albulance chaser you can find. "We only get paid if you win!" Stick it to her dude.
