i turned my 74 le tour into a single speed ghetto style by just removing the derailleurs and shortening up the chain. however now im having an issue where the drive side of the quick release goes off center causing the wheel to move to the left whenever i pedal. i noticed that the removable derailleur hanger had a sort of knurled surface most likely to prevent slippage. i was thinking of trying to stick some skateboard griptape to the drive side dropout to keep it in place. although this seems like it could go horribly wrong so are there any suggestions?
