I have questioned my 14-year old on this Super Mario thing. First he called me ancient.
He went to the attic and found his Nintendo 64, which I never really paid attention to, other than his James Bond games. I now know who Super Mario is, and payback will be forthcoming. Maybe I'll put his single speed build on hold for a while.

In the meantime, I help organize and direct some 5K and 10K road races, and I think I'll try to pitch a Super Mario division to the sponsors, using a ht/wt ratio. I'll equal the awards and see if I can get a pipe wrench engraved or mounted on a plaque.

I thought about it for bike rides/races, but I've seen many, many riders of Mario's build pass me and disappear into the immediate future, so I know better.
