Like it was stated above, good for single speed, not so good for fixed gear. Your foot isn't retained as snugly as it would be with full clips and straps, which is much more crucial when riding fixed. If you're spinning out down a hill and your foot slips out while trying to control your speed, good luck with that brake or not.
