That's what I use on my 21-speed hybrid. I like them. They give a decent compromise between control over the full arc of pedal travel while being able to get my feet out quick if traffic warrants it. Most of my time is out on the streets with cars and stuff.

Then again, I'm not doing fixie stuff...
