I have a pair of Aerostich Motorcycle Touring Combat boots, they're really Sidis. They were pricey. They are five years old. They are hardly broken in. They will outlast me. Amazing quality.

My cycling shoes are very durable. I wear them a lot. I have three pairs. Amazing quality. I will get my money's worth out of my Sidis.

But go figure on those Sidi Toasters. Say what you will about the shoe pricing, their stuff is super high quality. Why would they risk damaging their A+ image with a flakey product like those foot warmers that refuse to work properly? Very strange indeed.
