You want to see real pain, look at the price of ski boots this year. The expert-level boots are selling for $800-$1000.

A bunch of guys on the internet griping about the price of shoes... priceless

I tried the Shimano 151 in wide, and even those were too narrow. On my Genius Megas, the straps don't even go halfway across the velco and I am near the end of the buckle
