My Sidi Genius pair of 5 years is still doing fine and I have "rebuilt" it almost twice, new strap mechanisms, new heels, new insoles...
However I discovered that Shimano actually fits me better. The Sidis get a bit irritating at mile 80. Plus the Shimanos have carbon outsoles and I thought they were hype, but they really make a difference. No sore feet even a mile 112. I got 3 Shimanos now, a Tri Shoe, the R215 and the R220 all on sale, 20, 60 and 90 respectively. I should be good to go for a long time.
If well heeled -- of course I'll get Sidis too.
