For some reason, I never took a pic of the bike after I installed the Fox fork. So I took a couple indoors, its the best I can do for now.

As for the Splice fork, there are a lot of opionions about Manitou and their Axle/Splice line. Here's what I found. I'm a little on the heavy side, just over the Clyde limit at 208. I had the springs in the Splice upgraded to heavy duty based on the success I had doing the same to my Axle fork on a Rockhopper. With the upgrade, the fork was better, but still a little soft and not as predictable for what I like. My son is a whopping 140 lbs, rides the same bikes. He likes the Manitou as is.
One thing is a fact. The Fox weighs at least one pount less, maybe 2 lbs compared to the Manitou and I can really feel that on the front end when pulling up for a jump. As I said before, I like the bike and would
not consider selling it for $600 (with the Splice replacing the Fox).
It's your call, hope this helps.
