At least 25% of people pulling out, huge queues, lots of complaints. of course, the giveaway bikes were crap (I bet Tiger didn't even get an offer to build any).
8000 starters and ability to organise only 3000. I'd hate to be BV boss Harry Barber having to sign all those refund cheques.
Oh well <shrug> There's always the Great Tasmanian Bike Ride BV runs coming up in Feb. More fun and game, s'pose.
I know 3 people who did it and thought the ride was unreal! Although one said the queue for food went forever as did the one for showers. Oh yeah and those bike were a joke....but apparently some people actually did the ride with them....how brave!!
