The bit of Ferntree Gully Rd up the same hill a bit further south was good for repeated strength efforts.....probably too much traffic these days.
My mate went for a drive around Mt Dandenond and said there were heaps of people riding up there. I see a few going towards Ferntree Gully from the Wheelers Hill Pub when I head to my parents place.
There seems to be heaps of cyclists out that way these days!!
I wouldnt mind trying it but not sure about all the tourists heading up the hills for there day trips.....not sure they are looking out for cyclists.
