I've never rolled a tire, but then again I have only owned tubular tires for like a month or two.
But I have heard some stories.
Technically, if the tire is mounted/glued/aged properly it shouldn't be a concern. But my thing is, the first time I flat & do the repair myself, those first few rides are gonna suck mentally.
