I can generally be found in road forum but need some opinion on a single speed. Based on BD or Performance, which starter fixie would be better; the Kilo TT or the Windy City? I like the bull horns on the Windy but it appears there is more of a track record (pardon the phrase) with the Kilo. My goal (after learning how to ride a fixie) is to trick it out, customize it with some old equipment I have and simply have fun with it when I'm not on my Tarmac. Or is there another brand that could be suggested? My budget is right around $400.
