Cornering safety
Well, I've got myself hurt today while riding on my bike. I was cornering slightly faster than usually today and the road was rather wet. Then, this guy was doing his stretching round the corner. I guess I would not really have hit him if I continued the same way, but then, the considerate me decided to turn away just a little and there! I slide across and bruised my knee caps and my left elbow. Oh OUCHHH!
However, there the guy was, not even trying to help me up when I was just in front of him. ARRGGH! It would quite painful to even stand up, then I adjusted my bike a little and ride off. After a while, I stopped and the lights and there he was behind me, laughing at my misfortune, oh my, really hated it. The next time I see him, I would really have slide into him, see how he's gonna laugh anymore.
Anyway, I'm now resting (in front of the screen) with my wounds dress. Guess I wouldn't be riding the bike for quite some time, haven't been for the past week and now when I resume cycling, I have to stop again.
Now into the topic(HEHE) :
How would you guys corner if you see an obstacle like the fat ass I see and if the road is quite wet? Any advice to this rider who will be thinking a lot of what has happened? Hope it will bring some insight to other riders as well!
A piece of advice from me : Don't mind riding over a person if you really don't want to get yourself hurt!
