The tubes on the Isaac are MASSIVE though and this frame is raced by professional teams which at least shows it is up to the challenge of racing. I am sure an generic company can make a frame that looks similar, but will likely weigh a significant amount more. I am impressed with Pedal Force's RS2 that a friend has because the weight is low.
Our team shop is an Isaac shop. Our team bikes are Isaacs. The team has been racing them for at least 2 full seasons. They have all held up amazingly well.
There is one that is still hanging up in the back of the shop waiting to be sent back because of a hairline crack in one of the stays. Happened in a Cat 1/2 pileup. Team captain's bike. He's a 190+lb Cat1. high speed pileup and he was at the bottom of the pile.
Looks ridable, but they went over it with a fine tooth comb for a hour until they spotted a shift in the light reflection and notice the 'crack'.
All of the rest have endured a lot of wrecks, etc with no problems.
They are beautiful bikes. I hate having to stare at them during trainer classes. The head tubes are f'n HUGE! Nothing like that factory frame shown. Isaacs are "their own" bike. These are not just run of the mill frames with Isaac slapped on them. They are actually engineered/designed. They are unique....ish...
They are amazingly light and the tubes do look masive in a lot of places. Much more than any other production bike I have seen.
