Bikes: Isaac Impulse, Litespeed Solano, Mongoose Bosberg, Trek 5500, (recently sold Litespeed Classic, Scott Speedster Flat bar)
Thanks,
I didn't mean to offend anyone with a split level. They are in abundance near me and are all designed the same. I like the room they offer inside though, but that is the compromise with an old home. Rooms tend to be small. It is just me, the girlfriend and my 100lb Yellow Lab and 7 bikes. LOL
This Isaac is going to be very classic looking. I was always a bare ti guy so black with white and subtle graphics is my thing. Hope to have it on the road by end of next month. I was tempted to splurge for the new Dura Ace but for 100 grams weight savings and $1100 more on Totalcycling than 09 Rival, I am gonna be patient and wait for Rival.

I think it's going to be pretty awesome when finished. Looking good so far!
I also agree with your assessment of older houses and character. The irony is that I live in a split level. However, the deciding factor was because of its being located close to some of the best riding in Omaha: The Ponca Hills area. Riding won out. Plus my 3 dogs also have a HUGE back yard.
Given my druthers (a word used far too infrequently, in my opinion), I'd live in an older house.
