As far as decals go, I assure you that many frames have some or all of their decals over clearcoat. My Trek 5500 is one example of decals over clearcoat.
As far as negative reviews, I have seen some negative reviews in magazines and online of some bikes. Like I said, Isaac doesn't advertise like the bigger companies and the article I referred to was a long term update and not some intial impression of the frame. Bottom line is whether I like it. I hated my Litespeed Vortex in 2002 which was supposed to be one of the "best" at the time.

I will be honest about the Isaac once I get it on the rode but it is a nice looking frame.
