Funny you should mention bike dreams...I had one two nights ago. Context is a bit fuzzy now, but the gist was that the left side of the fork on my Hardrock had broken off where it is welded to the steerer.

I was discussing with a friend (in the dream) the option of either having it welded, or finding a used fork and adding the cantilevers, or just getting a new fork. Then I woke up.
Ok, what to make of it...take it literally or metaphorically? Well, metaphorically made sense in that I'm looking for a new direction in career (the old steerer is broken, time for a new one to take me in a new or better direction). I also couldn't ignore the literal, so I spent the morning disassembling, inspecting, and regreasing the forks/headsets of both my Hardrock and my 2300.
Uhh...what? This isn't the cycling-for-mental-health-dream-interpretation forum? Oops! Nevermind...
Think I could get my nickel back?
