They aren't links. What is supposed to happen is you can select multiple options and then click the search button. The Javascript that handles that may not be compatible with all browsers however. The Visual Search is due for a complete rewrite some time in the future. More than likely it will be replaced with a "Guided" search of a better design. Till then, I'm sure all of ya'll are smart enough about what a derailleur is vs a freewheel to use the Quick Search which will yield the same results.

And don't forget (or fail to notice) that there are two modes which you can view search results. The tabular text only version and a visual mode which displays the first photo of each item in the list.
