Bikes: Isaac Impulse, Litespeed Solano, Mongoose Bosberg, Trek 5500, (recently sold Litespeed Classic, Scott Speedster Flat bar)

Well, I am way ahead of you. I emailed Isaac 2 days ago and this is not an actual recall of the bike. It is to have owners bring their bikes into dealers to have fork steerer tube inspected. Certain stems and installation set ups have caused cracks in a handful of steerers. Too many spacers under stem which is an universal issue on all lightweight carbon steerers.

Could be an issue with fork but also in installation process but they are covering their *****. They are not replacing anything other than expander or forks that show damage.

I didn't build it yet so my fork is fine but they are issuing a new expander/compression plug as a precaution. I am buying Ritchey WCS Stem and Handlebars and was thinking of a WCS fork to match which is 90+ grams lighter than the Isaac fork.

So, thanks for the "gotcha" post, you proved nothing.
