Could be an issue with fork but also in installation process but they are covering their *****. They are not replacing anything other than expander or forks that show damage.
I didn't build it yet so my fork is fine but they are issuing a new expander/compression plug as a precaution. I am buying Ritchey WCS Stem and Handlebars and was thinking of a WCS fork to match which is 90+ grams lighter than the Isaac fork.
So, thanks for the "gotcha" post, you proved nothing.
Not really a gotcha post. More like a 'Well that really sucks that you got a new frame that you liked and it has to go back'.
But for you it turns out that it's probably going to be a non issue, they'll give you a new fork, or tell you what to use (probable in this case). In any event, you don't really lose out on anything, so good for you.
I wasn't trying to prove anything, but I'm not quite sure why you're being so defensive...
Glad this is going to work out for ya.
