You certainly have your right to your opinion, but may I ask why you are so against dogs? They might not be YOUR favorite, but that dog might have been loved by someone who would miss him terribly.

Yes, dogs are stupid. I haven't ever been threatened by one, but if a dog is able to chase me on my bike, his owners are stupider than he is; we're supposed to know better and keep dogs from doing things like that.
