Yes, dogs are stupid. I haven't ever been threatened by one, but if a dog is able to chase me on my bike, his owners are stupider than he is; we're supposed to know better and keep dogs from doing things like that.
That's precisely my point... I don't mind dogs on the whole... but if someone is stupid enough to let their dog roam free and run out in front of cars, I'm not going to be the least bit sad when it gets turned into road pizza. Also, if the dog is dumb enough to run out in front of a car without looking and gets squished, again I'm not going to be sad. In such a case both the owner and dog got what it deserved. Same thing if a kid is playing on the railroad tracks and gets squished. Wouldn't bother me a bit.
