This issue comes up more with motorcycles than bicycles and I've seen many a man sell their mc's.
For what it is worth, I think the BIG difference is that bikes make you svelte and fit... and therefore sexier. And motorcycles make you fat, and reduce your IQ.
PS -- My wife supports my bike
riding. She doesn't support my bike-related buying.
But I'm afraid I'd choose Miss Finland (my wife) over my bikes.
