Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

12 years ago, I dumped my wife because of increasingly vast differences between us. Cycling, and fitness in general, was a large part of that decision.

I now only date thin athletic women who ride bikes.

Life is Good.

Mine dumped me because she thinks I was picking cycling over her.

Needless to say, I'm okay with it.

Not at all. Every time she gives me grief about my attitude I slap her around until she loses her attitude.

Either you are joking, in which case that is in very poor taste, or you are not joking, and you should be arrested. Either way, not cool.

From the original question: "No whining about him/her "never doing that cause they care about my health", blah, blah, blah - just choose."

Since when does being arrested change anything?

Shouldn't one of the choices be HTFU?

I'd tell her that I quit cycling and just keep my bike at work and cycle every day during my lunch hour.

im not married with children so its a bit easier. but if i had to choose her over the bike i would end up getting pissy, then lose her anyways and at that point i would lose both. Shes gotta go, my bikes piss and moan so much less anyways.
