aw crap, the guy i bought it from has a business license and business cards (http://sacramento.citysearch.com/pro...e_bicycle.html <-business listing)

granted the guy runs it out of his house... and he basically has nothing but bikes in his house (his kitchen was full of frames, cranksets, and bottom brackets, there was little walking room overall because he had to have ~70 bikes stashed everywhere). I asked where he got them from and he said swap meets and unclaimed property auctions or something...

i doubt the original owner is really still looking for it... but this will make it a bit harder to sell i imagine guess it'll just get parted out when i get tired of it (as if people are looking for 24" wheels and biopace cranksets lol)
