I was just curious so I put a sidepull Shimano 105 front brake through the hole and it grabbed a 700C wheels' braking surface perfectly.....Then I put a long reach caliper w/ raised pads through the hole and that worked perfectly too!

Wondering why Koga did that.... Does that seem weird or is it just because I have never tried this before ?
