Thanks, Beef.

I emailed the guy and asked about the components. This is what he said:

"The crankset is a made by a company japanese named sakae it was origionally a double crankset, but I used single ring bolts allow it to run it as a single. It was a 105 level crankset back in it's day.

The bars are Almuinium made by a company called champion. They arent anything special and they origionally came with the bike as well.

The brake levers are actually tektro levers which are an upgrade over the stock dia compe levers which had external cable routing.

The brake calipers are nashbar dual pivot calipers, and they are a huge improvement over the stock single pivot calipers that came on the bike.

The saddle is a specialized saddle not a highend model, but still well designed none the less."

To my limited knowledge on the subject, everything here seems to be of the cheaper variety. I think I'll take it for a test spin and maybe shoot him a lower asking price.
