I'd like to see how that goes for you. I picked up the one i have with the same thought in mind. A friend had one in the late '80s that I rode a few times & when one showed up on the local CL (excellently listed with no picture & titled "cannondale 15 speed") I couldn't resist. I'm mounting city semi-slicks, fenders, a rack & fitting with a road triple crankset, some fine 7 speed Deore derailleur/shifters & a set of tektro v-brakes...definitely more transformation work than you'd do for a flip, but i'm just doing this one for myself. Oh, as is, mine weighed in at 25lbs.
