Troy's Major Jake

My Major Jake in Full Winter regalia..... Fenders are zip tied and the front is chopped as the carbon fork does not even have a hole in the crown. Works pretty well.

It took me a while to fall in love with this bike, but I am absolutely smitten by it now. This thing will put the hurt on my mountain biking friends on some pretty serious off road climbs . But it does not descend all that well I am running an Ultegra short cage rear der but a 12/32 cassette. The 38/32 works like a charm for most of Boise's demanding climbing.

The XTR v brakes sucked for me (even with travel agents)....so I put some Tektro Oryxs on and they work much much better!

I have never been much of a rack guy. I have carried all my stuff in a performance oriented backpack for years. It works for me.
