thanks. pictures of record models are a plenty. i just had to look at ebay. essentially, i was able to rule out record pretty easily. two things typcially not record are the rivets and the cages. on mine the front and back of the cages are almost identical, whereas record models are much different.

i was unsure if they were gran sport, since images of those are few and far between. velobase has a nuovo gran sport but these are riveted. anyone have pics of gran sports? most i've seen also have the strap loop, but that can be the 60's models.

ps. speedplay has an incredible pedal museum with tons of pictures. from the looks of some i found there, these could very well be ROTO or even WAY - ASSAUTO. Both these versions have very similar cages, albeit without the strap loop.
