First, reconditioned rear wheel for the Mondia, this is a Record High flange on a Mavic rim. Replaced bearings (cones and races look wonderful..), polished, and painted flange cutouts. Looking pretty good for a 37 year old wheel. Mondia is almost done now.

Then, take one nice original Fuji S12-2 (18) Mixte, let it sit in your garage for 8 months, then get a burst of energy with the parts one has accumulated. It looked like this to begin with:
With a little stroking, voila, city bike. Might not be obvious in pics, but the housings are blingy braided steel wrapped in clear plastic:

More to come on this one, have a set of fenders to install, maybe a wider sprung saddle more suitable for upright riding. This is going to be my wife's commuter. It was a blast to ride when adjusting/testing.
