ok thanks for the input guys. from personal use I actually prefer a road bike over a MTB, also since I am in the middle of suburbia it would take some traveling to be able to use a MTB for what it was made for.

I am also curious if anyone has been to Re-My Sport which is now Via Ciclante in Streetsville, I am curious if they are a good store. I know they have been around forever...
