I do repeats on Bernal, but on the opposite side from Almaden. Its IBM property and is closed to traffic other then employees. Bernal up to the gate is very low traffic also, and is great for repeats. If ya just wanna ride hills then hwy 9 up and over through Big Basin and back up E Zayante is a great climbing ride. Some folks dont like riding hwy 9, but I for one dont mind it at all.
